When I was a little kid there were two things that made sense to me more than anything else: creating and exploring. My crayons and pencils seemed to catch my imagination as much as meandering though the fields and woods that surrounded my childhood home.
It was in 1996 at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh that upon finishing my first piece ever, a portrait of a gorilla, I discovered my love for painting. In 2003 a one-way cross-country road trip brought me to Southern California and it was there, while on the roads and amidst the culture of the Southwest, that my artistic voice began to take shape. During this time my days would be spent working as a graphic designer, however, most nights would find me burrowed away in my studio garage pounding Red Bull or black tea, or both, and staying up until all hours painting, drawing, writing, and tweaking my "master plan" for taking over there world.
In 2008 that master plan took my girlfriend and I on a 44 day road trip from San Diego to Washington D.C. where, with one-way tickets in hand, we boarded a plane bound for Argentina. Today we currently live in Buenos Aires where my brushes and I push ever further on into the laughter, darkness and everything in between that makes up life.
